You are created for fullness and peace.
But do you find the broken world constantly wounding you? Does it make your life difficult and sometimes painful? Maybe you begin to feel broken. Despair, helplessness, pain, loss, and anxiety cling to you in your path, sometimes seeming to be your only companions in life.
We will work together to go deeper to the roots of your pain and confusion, with compassion and space for you to be yourself and walk to this significant place at your own pace. We will look at formative events in your life, your stories. We will explore your feelings and the meanings behind those stories and events that brought you to the place you are now. While we are on this journey, we will learn skills that will help you walk in everyday life and reach a place of peace.
I experienced traumatic and painful events in my childhood, constantly trying to understand the meaning of suffering and our existence as people on earth. I endured the burning agony of injustice and numbing pain. I know how hard and dark life can be. But that darkness doesn’t have to last forever. I’ve been healed. My heart has been changed, and even though the process and the destination might look different for different people, I believe that healing is possible for everyone. I recognize human pain and see the person behind that pain. It is my privilege to share the time and space with a person searching for and moving toward healing.
There are many different ways we can find healing for our souls and relationships, and therapy is one of those ways. I know there can be obstacles to taking this step, but I encourage you to start by calling our office. I would be honored to walk with you on this journey.
