Every so often my counselor will do check-ins and bring up previous challenges I have had or goals we had set to work towards, and review the progress made. I have enjoyed looking over different worksheets to help me better understand my emotions, and working backward to find root issues. I also found it very beneficial working on creating new healthy ways of coping with stress, and actively being aware of intense emotions to change patterns of thought and behavior."
