My Approach

As a dancer, I grew up with an appreciation for how movement, art and play positively impacted my mental health. Connecting my passion for the arts with my passion for supporting my community has been a central part of my journey as a therapist. I love to help people develop a deeper understanding of their nervous systems, and reconnect to the wisdom that comes from their own lineages or culture. I also love working with individuals in the arts, especially as someone who understands life on stage and behind the scenes.

As a therapist, I lead with curiosity, authenticity and creativity. Our lives, how we process and experience the world, and our interactions with others are heavily influenced by our identities, the levels of power and privilege that we have access to and the systems of oppression we navigate. I will acknowledge all of these factors in our work together. My values include centering disability justice, Black liberation and indigenous sovereignty, humility, compassion and the power of community.

Take your next step toward growth.
