I’ve always known I wanted to help people but I realized that I wanted to be a therapist while doing volunteer work at a community center in Bolivia after college. I saw that resources alone could not heal the brokenness of life and relationships and decided to dedicate myself to the inner healing that allows for outward transformation.

Therapists are often called, “holders of hope” – I love that title and being a person that can remind you that it will get better whenever the light at the end of the tunnel seems dim. I truly view it as a privilege to walk with people through whatever they are going through and provide a place where everyone can be seen, safe, soothed, and secure. I am passionate about helping people make sense of themselves and their lives, “reparent” themselves and be what they needed in the past and can be in the present, and make changes to allow them to live to their full potential.

I can’t keep doing this. Your emotions are all over the place. Your mind is an exhausting place with all the racing thoughts, overthinking, and what ifs. You feel discontent even though you have plenty to be grateful for. Full of guilt and shame for not being the friend, partner, mother, daughter, or employee you want to be. Maybe you’ve tried to figure it out on your own, but you keep getting stuck in the same feelings and cycles, which just makes it feel more overwhelming. You’re harder on yourself than ever and you feel so alone.

Life is hard and the reality is no one taught us how to handle it all, both managing the stress of life and navigating what can feel like an internal mess of our thoughts and emotions. Of course you feel all tangled up! I want you to know that it’s okay to not be okay and you don’t have to do this by yourself. Know that there is hope, joy, and peace available for you.

Therapy with me is a place where you get to bring your full self, all parts of you, and find compassion and care. This is a place where you get to let it all out without fear of judgement or rejection, and have someone to share your burdens with and be in your court. We will build a relationship grounded in trust and pursuing the best of you.

Initially, we will collaborate on practical strategies that will help you feel more stable while we get curious about what’s going on underneath the surface. Over time, we’ll make sense of why you are the way that you are and why you do the things you do as we understand your story and how you’ve learned to survive. As we untangle the unhelpful cycles you’re stuck in, we’ll work through the parts of you that are hurting or getting in the way, and find a new path forward. As we walk together, my goal is that you not only experience change in yourself but also see it overflow to all parts of your life. Moving forward, you will feel more confident to better navigate all the different seasons of life.

You’ve already made a brave step in daring to believe that things can be different. The change may not be easy, but it will be so worth it. Best of all, you don’t have to do it on your own. I’d love to meet you and start your journey of healing, discovery, and growth.
