My Approach
I knew I wanted to work at Optimum Joy because even the name aligns with how I see therapy and the world! I like to say I’m recklessly hopeful. Through every patch of darkness, I know there’s light on the other side, even though it may take a long time to get there. I will walk with you through it all, from the hardest moments, to the greatest successes, to the everyday challenges of being a human in this world. I have the joy of bringing my education in counseling and my personal experiences to help you on your journey. I’m passionate about healthy coping skills, self-compassion, following your values, working through trauma, body image and self-image, facing your struggles head-on, and living a meaningful life that integrates your whole self.
